BASE Energy has extended its service offerings to include mechanical and electrical engineering and design services ranging from planning and scoping studies to construction support and commissioning. Our team specializes in providing efficient, innovative, cost effective, mechanical and electrical engineering and project management solutions to all of our clients in the commercial, industrial, institutional and utility sectors.
Below are some of the design projects BASE's staff were involved in:
Design & engineering services for installation of a 1.3 MW roof mounted solar array on the roof of Exploratorium Museum in San Francisco. The solar array has over 5,800 solar panels. The scope of work included conceptual designs, railing sizing, connection methods, single and three line drawings, grounding plans, wire and conduit sizing.
Design & engineering services for installation of a 230 kW solar canopy system over an existing parking lot at the Spring Preserve, Las Vegas, NV. The scope of work included panel layouts, structural steel member design and foundation design.
Applied Materials Elevated Solar Array Systems
Design & engineering services for installation of a 1 MW solar canopy system over an existing parking lot at the Applied Materials Arquez Campus, Sunnyvale, CA. The scope of work included structural steel framing design, foundation design, and electrical equipment (inverters, etc) selection.
Ox Mountain Landfill Gas Project
Prepared design and construction packages for a power generation facility and substation at the Ox Mountain Gas Landfill, Half Moon Bay, CA. The facility is a 11.2 MW landfill gas fueled power plant with 6 gas engine generators.
