Our Projects
The New Stanford Hospital
Project Summary
BASE has been one of the main consultants for City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU) new construction program (Business New Construction, BNC) since 2011. Since then, we have provided design review and energy modeling services to over CPAU non‐ residential customers to assist with identifying and incorporating energy efficient practices, systems and equipment in the design stages for new construction facilities. BASE has performed comprehensive design reviews and energy modeling for the new Stanford Hospital at design development stage.
A post‐field verification was performed in August 2018 to verify the actual energy savings based on the installed equipment and expected operating conditions. A verification report was developed to document all findings and the report was present to both CPAU and Stanford
