WEP provides the following services for retrofit or new construction/expansion:

	Identification of energy-efficient system upgrades and water conservation projects that result in wastewater treatment energy savings.
	Engineering and economic feasibility study of identified projects.
	Customized (calculated) financial incentives for implementing system upgrades.
	Project design and implementation assistance to ensure long-term energy and cost savings.

Financial incentives are based on verified yearly energy savings of installed upgrades. In addition to customer incentives, WEP offers incentives to wastewater designers and equipment vendors for referring and successfully implementing qualified WEP projects.

Incentive rates are as follows:
	Customer Incentives: $0.09/kWh and $100/kW (maximum of 50% of project cost)
	Wastewater Designer Incentive: $0.04/kWh (maximum of $3,000)
	Wastewater Equipment Vendor Incentive: $0.02/kWh (maximum of $3,000)
Qualification Requirements:
Eligible program customers must satisfy the following three requirements:
	Be a food or beverage processing facility or an agricultural facility
	Have, or plan to have, a wastewater treatment system
	Be a Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) electric customer
