The WEP participation process is quick and easy: |

Customer Signs Access Agreement:
The Acess Agreement grants WEP staff access to the customer wastewater systems to collect data and identify energy efficiency upgrades. Download Agreement

Findings Report:
Based on observations during the site visit (or review of design documentation for new systems), WEP develops an engineering and economic feasibility study of the potential energy efficiency upgrades. |

Customer Signs Project Commitment:
Upon reviewing the findings report, the customer decides which projects to implement and signs the Project Commitment. This document commits the customer to implementing the selected projects and commits WEP to reserve the incentive funds for the customer. Download Project Commitment Document |

Project Verification:
Once committed projects are implemented, WEP staff inspect installed equipment and calculate the incentive amount based on verified energy savings. |

Incentive Payment:
Incentives will be paid based on the verified yearly energy savings at a rate of $0.09/kWh and $100/kW for customers and $0.04/kWh for designers and $0.02/kWh for vendors that refer and successfully implement WEP approved projects. |
